The drylin® E switched-mode power supplies for automation are suitable for all dryve motor control systems. They supply output currents to operate the entire igus® motor series. The 24V output voltage is typically used to supply stepper and DC motors, optionally also EC/BLDC motors. Of course, the complete automation machine including the main control system such as PLC (programmable logic controller) or IPC (industrial PC) can also be supplied. The 48V top-hat (DIN) rail power supply units are recommended for higher speeds with stepper or EC/BLDC motors. The power supply units are mounted in the control cabinet on a DIN rail (TS-35). Protective functions such as overload, overvoltage and overtemperature have been integrated to ensure safe operation.
