The igus® DC motor portfolio includes motors with planetary gearboxes. As a result, the drive shaft is in the middle. The motors can be used for simple linear movements and without power electronics. This means that they can be operated with batteries. By simply reversing the polarity of the connections, the direction of rotation of the motors is changed. Other advantages of the motor are its effectiveness, compactness and quiet running.
