In machine construction in particular, metal swarf is a problem. It can damage cables and hence lead to machine downtime. In these cases, igus recommends using an energy tube. The cables are effectively protected against damages due to swarf and thus increase the machine's service life. igus offers a wide product range, so that there is a suitable energy chain for every application in the machine tool industry.
